Veterinary Technician, Surgical and Recovery
Our surgical department is growing and we are looking for an experience surgery technician that can assist when needed in surgery and will work in our recovery area.
This person will assist in our treatment area as well and also work with our Patient Outreach Coordinator.
We have 8 doctors on staff and our daily surgery schedule fills up fast.
We are a family team and offer superior CE.
Essential Functions:
Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Anesthesia monitoring Physical examinations and patient assessment Surgical preparation and assisting Dentistry Laboratory work Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
Qualifications:
Must have documented previous experience Hold a current RVT license is a plus Must have surgery experience Flexibility in hours Customer service skills Working knowledge of computers Excellent communications skills Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
