Nurse Supervisor RNNEW RATES!Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care facility in Annapolis MD.
We are a skilled nursing facility seeking RN Night Shift Supervisor.
We are committed to providing quality health care and are looking for an energetic professional ready to join our team.
A successful applicant must have experience with electronic medical records (Point Click Care), have knowledge of the LTC State and Federal Regulations, MDS and care planning.
Clinical experience on a med/surgical unit or skilled nursing unit is a must.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state of Maryland.
Ability to communicate clearly, in person and over the phone any new findings and treatment plans with physicians, nurses, residents and families.
Prepare and administer medication.
Make rounds frequently to identify and assist with appropriate training.
Ability to promote a healthy working environment and resolve clinical and personnel issues.
Must be able to read, write and speak English language.
Administrative duties such as reports, charts, evaluations, completing medical forms and disciplinary actions.
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
Respond to request from residents, physicians, and team members.
Perform routine charting duties.
Maintain daily census report.
Maintain dispensed medication records.
Ability to maintain a professional and courteous relationship with GNAs as well as other team members.
Identify any changes in patients condition.
Obtain specimens for lab tests.
Ability to administer:
Catherization, Tube feeding, Suction, Apply and change dressing and bandages as well as colostomy and drainage bags.
Participate in continuing education programs.
Comply with safety precautions.
