The day to day tasks of the Human Resources Specialist are recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
The HR Manager is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating new employee orientation, and the professional development of staff.
Responsibilities also include administering and coordinating benefits, performance evaluations, investigating grievances, counseling managers regarding disciplinary actions and terminations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and auditing personnel files.
BA or BS degree preferred in Human Resources, Business or related field with two years experience working in Human Resources with a working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, or acceptable combination of education and experience.
Non-profit experience a plus! We offer health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K plan, vacation, sick, and holidays.
