Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to individuals in the home and maybe in the community settings for female with intellectual disability and seizure disorder.
- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication reminders, and mobility assistance.
- Implement behavior management systems to promote a safe and supportive environment for individuals with special needs.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients to enhance their well-being.
- Assist with household tasks, such as light housekeeping and laundry.
Skills:
- Experience working with adults with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities as well as seizures disorder - Meal preparation:
Ability to prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Behavior management:
Proficient in implementing behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.
- Understanding of the services provided under the Maryland State Developmental Disabilities Administration waiver programs.
Must be patient, compassionate, experienced, and trustworthy and reliable and ability to assist residents with their daily needs.
-Must be willing to assist with activities of daily living to include hygiene and grooming.
The hours are flexible.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
