Host/Host Harper's Waterfront, a casual, upscale dining experience, atop Turkey Point Marina, overlooking Ramsey Lake and Selby Bay.
We are an intimate restaurant, with outdoor deck seating as well, looking for a polished and friendly candidate to welcome our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus - Assist in seating guests according to seating plans and restaurant policies - Manage waitlists and reservations using the Aloha POS system - Provide excellent guest service by addressing any inquiries or concerns - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food service and restaurant operations - Proficient in using the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software - Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members - Ability to handle guest relations professionally and resolve any issues or complaints - Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry practices is a plus - Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and welcoming demeanor Join our team as a Host/Host and be part of an exciting restaurant environment where you can showcase your exceptional customer service skills.
